Kern Leadership Alliance October 13th Breakfast
with speaker Sean Battle
Live Long in the Land
Living in a safe neighborhood feels like a blessing. It’s a place where you find refuge, friendship, and trust that your family will thrive. Unfortunately, KernCountyhas neighborhoods that are plagued with violence from gangs and other criminal activity. How do these neighbors grow to respect each others when their basic need for safety is not being met? Only through turning hearts toward God is transformation possible.
Our October speaker, SEAN BATTLE, is the Executive Director of Stop the Violence, President of the Bakersfield Branch of the NAACP, a local business man and minister. Delivered from a life of crime and addiction through his unconditional love of God, Mr. Battle now works to share his vision of hope with Southeast Bakersfield. Sean Battle lives his life in full-time ministry by providing meaningful programs needed for community empowerment.
