Thank you for joining us for the
Kern Leadership Alliance May Breakfast
with speaker Nada Yorke, MSW
Coming Together for His Purpose
Recently we celebrated Easter, a time for remembrance of the sinless life of Jesus Christ and the sacrifice he made for mankind. Nobody but Jesus is capable of leading a sinless life, but often we react to those who sin by extending judgment instead of grace.
Our speaker, NADA YORKE, provides training to law enforcement and counseling professionals on how to rehabilitate members of our community that have committed violent crimes. Nada Yorke’s career as a probation officer, working with drug addicts and gang members, prepared her for initiating change in the criminal justice system by working with batterer’s in prison and rehabilitation programs, in order to help families struggling with domestic violence to find healing, restoration, and transformation. A leading force in developing the Domestic Violence Advisory Council (DVAC), she continues to bring together department heads and key leaders in the community to combat rising rates of family violence in Kern County.
